King Kong

December 18 2005, AMC Manchester.

Generally excellent, particularly the acting of Kong. Good cast (Jack Black was generally very good, but delivered one of the worst final lines in film: “It was beauty that killed the beast” or something similarly awful). Some of the CGI was surprisingly dodgy (not Kong, which seemed flawless, but the images of the ship in particular).
